The application is slow or lagging, how do I fix it?

Close any tabs and programs you are not using: the exercise needs to respond to each key instantly, and a browser with thirty open tabs introduces delays that are noticeable when typing. Then reload with Ctrl+F5.

Other common causes

• Browser extensions that analyze the page in real-time (grammar checkers, translators). Disable them on play.kluppy.com.
• Outdated browser: update it.
• Unstable connection: loading each exercise requires network, although typing does not.
• Low-spec computers, typical in old computer labs. Closing everything else helps a lot.

If it is slow only when loading each exercise but then you type normally, it is the connection and not the computer.

If it is slow on all computers in a school at the same time, let us know: it could be on our end and we want to know about it.
