Get a Verifiable Typing Speed Certificate

Prove your typing speed with a certificate employers can actually check. A server-graded exam measures your net words per minute (WPM) and issues a verifiable typing certificate with your name, your exact score and a public verification link — plus an Open Badges 3.0 credential for your resume, job applications and LinkedIn.

Why Kluppy

Server-graded, not self-reported

Your net WPM is calculated on the server, not in your browser: a result that is hard to fake and worth showing an employer.

Verifiable by anyone

Every certificate has a public verification page and an Open Badges 3.0 credential — a recruiter can check it in seconds, no account needed.

Your exact WPM

The certificate shows your exact net words per minute and accuracy; the level name is just the label that sums it up.

Built for job applications

Attach it to your resume, add it to LinkedIn, or link it in an application — an objective answer to “how fast do you type?”.

Frequently asked questions

What does the typing certificate include?
Your name, your exact net words per minute (WPM), your accuracy, the date, and a public verification link. It is also issued as an Open Badges 3.0 credential you can add to LinkedIn.
Will employers accept this certificate?
Many employers accept a verifiable online typing certificate as evidence of speed on a resume or application. Some organizations — notably certain government agencies — require a proctored or supervised typing test instead, and each employer decides what it accepts. Always check the job posting; if a supervised test is required, use Kluppy to train and arrive over the bar.
What is a good WPM for a job?
As a rule of thumb: 40 WPM covers most entry-level office work, 50–60 WPM is the common bar for administrative, clerical and data-entry roles, and 70+ WPM is professional typist speed. The certificate states your exact number, so it works for any threshold.
What is the difference between WPM and keystrokes per minute?
One word is counted as five keystrokes, so 40 WPM equals 200 keystrokes per minute. The exam measures net speed — errors are subtracted — and the certificate shows both figures.
How does someone verify my certificate?
With its identifier on the public verification page — no account needed — or by validating its Open Badges 3.0 credential. That is what makes it different from a screenshot of a typing test.
