Free typing games

Two games to practice typing fast and accurately, free and with no sign-up: a race for the whole class and a survival game to play with whoever is online.

For teachers

Class race

Open a room, put it on the projector and your class joins with a code, or without one if they are on the same network. Each student gets a made-up nickname and everyone types the same text. At the end, a podium and the class average speed.

  • Up to 60 players in the same race
  • No accounts and no student data
  • Texts by age: 6-9, 10-13 and 14+

To play

Survival Royale

Ten players and three 30-second rounds. At the end of each round, the storm takes the slowest: 6 of the 10 go through, then 3 of the 6, and the final decides the podium. If players are missing, robots at your level join, always marked.

  • Free, with or without an account
  • With a Kluppy account, the podium wins gems
  • Games last under three minutes

The class race in three steps

  1. Open the race on the classroom computer and put it on the projector.

  2. Your students go to kluppy.com/carrera and type the code on the screen.

  3. Press Start: everyone types the same text and the projector shows who is ahead.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign up?
No. Both games work without an account: each player gets a made-up nickname. With a Kluppy account, the Royale podium also wins gems.
What data is kept?
Only the made-up nickname and how each player is doing in the game, and it is deleted the next day. We do not ask for a name, email or age. The details are in the privacy policy.
Does it work on school computers?
Yes. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install, on computers and Chromebooks with a keyboard.
How long does a game last?
The class race lasts as long as the class takes to finish the text, six minutes at most. The Royale takes under three minutes: three 30-second rounds.
