What happens to my account and data after I cancel?

Your account still exists, along with all your data. Cancelling only stops the charges and returns you to the free plan; it does not start any deletion process or set off a countdown. You can keep logging in and practicing levels 1 to 7 indefinitely.

Cancelling and deleting are different things

• Cancelling your subscription: you stop paying, but you keep your account and progress. There is no deadline or expiration date.
• Deleting your account: you request this explicitly from My Profile → Privacy and Data. That does start a deletion process, with a 14-day grace period in case you change your mind.

If your account is managed by an educational center or organization, the cycle is different: when the center removes you, your data is kept for 6 months and then permanently deleted. This period exists so you can return the following school year without losing your progress.

If at any point you want us to delete everything sooner, you can request it: it is your right and we will take care of it.
