Does Kluppy automatically detect my keyboard?

No, and browsers don’t allow for reliable detection either: for security reasons, a website cannot know what physical keyboard you have connected. Kluppy assumes a Spanish (ISO) keyboard and shows the on-screen guide with that layout.

What it does detect

What Kluppy sees are the characters you type, not the keys you press. That’s why the exercises work with any keyboard you can use to type those characters: what might not match is the visual guide, if your keyboard is not Spanish.

If your keyboard is not Spanish, set it to Spanish in your operating system’s language settings while you practice. This is the only adjustment needed, and you only have to do it once.
