Can I practice with a Catalan keyboard, including the ç and open accents?
Yes. Catalan is supported as a practice language, and the course teaches you its specific keys when you have it enabled: à, è, and ò, the dieresis (ï, ü), the ç, and the middle dot in l·l. You will learn these within the accent and punctuation levels.
How to enable it
In Settings → Practice languages, check Català. You can have it on its own or combined with another language (up to three at a time).
About the physical keyboard: the Spanish keyboard includes the Ç and allows open accents using the grave accent key, so you don’t need a special keyboard to practice Catalan. Texts are generated in natural Catalan, with all its accents and apostrophes.
A couple of limitations worth knowing: the letter combination training and the Marathon texts do not have their own Catalan database yet, so in those two specific modes, the text may appear in Spanish. The course, regular exercises, and benchmarks are fully in Catalan.
