What keyboard layouts does Kluppy support?

Kluppy is built on the Spanish QWERTY keyboard (ISO), the standard in Spain: the one with the Ñ to the right of the L, the accent key next to the Ñ, and the Ç. This is the layout shown on the on-screen keyboard, and all finger positions are calculated based on it.

What this means in practice

• If your computer has a Spanish keyboard, you don’t need to configure anything.
• If your physical keyboard has a different layout (Latin American, English, French…), the exercises will still work —since what is compared are the characters you type— but the on-screen guide will show you the keys in their Spanish positions, which might not match your physical keyboard.
• The Latin American keyboard is very similar to the Spanish one, and most keys match; the differences are in the symbols, not the letters.

If you practice with a different keyboard and find it confusing, the easiest solution is usually to change the layout in your operating system’s language settings while you practice.
