Do students need their own email to have an account?

No. When you register a student from the dashboard, the system generates a username of the type firstname.lastname with their password. The student logs in by typing that username, without needing to have or provide any email address.

Why it matters

This is the normal situation in primary school: students do not have an email, or the school prefers not to use it. With the generated username, there is no need to ask families for data or manage inboxes.

Practical details

• On the login screen, the student only writes their username: the system completes the rest.
• Accents and special characters like “ñ” do not matter when typing it.
• The password is managed by the school: if a student forgets it, their teacher resets it from the dashboard, not support.

If the school does use emails (for example, Google Workspace accounts), that also works: students can log in with their school account.
