The Ñ key is not working for me in the exercises, what should I do?

Almost always, this is because your operating system’s keyboard layout is not set to Spanish, even if your physical keyboard is. Check your computer’s language settings and set it to Spanish (Spain): the Ñ will start working instantly, both inside and outside of Kluppy.

How to check in 10 seconds

Open anywhere you can type (the browser search bar works) and press the Ñ key. If it doesn’t appear there either, the issue is with your computer, not Kluppy.

How to fix it

• Windows: Settings → Time & language → Language & region. Make sure the keyboard is Spanish (Spain). If you have multiple layouts, switch between them using Windows + Spacebar.
• macOS: System Settings → Keyboard → Input Sources. Add Spanish – ISO.
• ChromeOS: Settings → Device → Keyboard → Input methods.

Other less common causes

• A browser extension that intercepts keystrokes. Try it in an incognito window.
• A physical keyboard with a different layout: there is no Ñ key on an English keyboard. If you change your system layout to Spanish, the Ñ will appear on the key to the right of the L, even if it isn’t printed on the keycap.
