Is the school license for the school year or the calendar year?

The license lasts for 12 months from the service start date, which is agreed upon in the quote. It is not a fixed calendar date: if you tell us you want to start in September, the year runs from September to September, even if you sign in June.

Why we do it this way

It allows you to fit the license to your school year or your budget cycle, which rarely coincide. Just let us know when requesting the quote.

If no date is specified, the year starts on the day it is activated.

Mid-course upgrades are prorated to your existing renewal date, so everything expires at the same time and you don’t end up with multiple different dates.
