What is the difference between the primary account and a profile?
The primary account is the one with the email and password, the one that subscribes to and manages the plan, and the one that configures parental controls. A profile is an additional person practicing under that account, with their own separate progress but without their own login credentials.
The primary account
- Has an email and password: this is what you use to log in.
- Subscribes to, changes, and cancels the plan.
- Creates, renames, and deletes profiles.
- Configures parental controls and receives reports.
- Can download data and delete the account.
- Also practices: they are just another user, with their own progress.
A profile
- Has a name, avatar, and its own progress, level, stats, and achievements.
- Does not have an email or password: you access it by switching profiles within the account.
- Cannot manage the plan or billing.
- Cannot be converted into an independent account.
They count the same towards your plan limit: with LITE you have 2 users (your account and one profile) and with PRO you have 5 (your account and four profiles).
