Does the exam detect cheating? What if my connection drops?

Yes, the exam is protected. The measurement is done entirely on our servers based on what you actually typed: no score sent by your browser is accepted. Impossible speeds for a human are also discarded.

What else protects the exam

  • The texts are served by the server: they are not known beforehand.
  • Only real keystrokes are accepted. Programs that type for you do not work.
  • The time is kept by the server’s clock, not your computer’s.
  • Before starting, you sign a declaration of honesty.

If your connection drops: you have 60 minutes to complete the session, so a brief drop won’t lock you out. Reconnect and continue where you were. If your window runs out due to a serious problem, write to us at info@kluppy.com telling us what happened: we have the log of your attempt and can see what occurred.

An honest warning: trying to cheat is a waste of money. A speed certificate is only valuable if it is true, and it shows on your first day of work.
