How does the exam work? How many attempts do I have?

You write 3 texts in a single session, with a limit of 60 minutes to complete it. You have 2 takes in total: the initial attempt and one retry that you can use within 14 days of payment if you want to improve your score.

Before starting, you sign a declaration of honesty: that you are going to take the exam yourself, without help.

During the exam

  • The three texts are written in a row, in the same session.
  • The clock is kept by the server, not your computer.
  • Your speed and accuracy are calculated on our servers based on what you actually wrote. No data sent by your browser is trusted.

The retry is used in full: it is a complete second take of the three texts, not repeating a single one. The score of the attempt you use is the one that counts, so do it when you are in good shape.

Tip: do a normal speed test on the platform before taking the exam, to know where you stand.
